ditto. but can I ask what your undergraduate is in? My cousin is a NP and she compared being a NP and PA as very similar, but NP's are the top of the nursing totem pole and PA's are on the bottom of the Dr's totem pole. food for thought.

I'm a Physician Assistant. I graduated from Touro college bayshore campus. There is also a campus at Winthrop in mineola. Stoneybrook and NYIT also have PA programs. Please feel free to FM me with any further questions!

Posted by karabara PA's are on the bottom of the Dr's totem pole.
I've been working as a PA for 7 years now, and this is a big misconception.

This is bull. Either way, you will have doctors that will treat you like crap sometimes. The truth is, PA's and NP's fill similar positions. PA's have slightly more restrictive practice than NP's do, but the benefit of a PA is that they can switch specialties whenever they want, whereas its not as easy for an NP to do so.
