JRDF Walk In October

This October, I'll be taking part in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk to Cure Diabetes along with a half-million other walkers across the country.

I am walking and fund-raising in support of Deirdre's (wowcoulditbe) daughter Samantha, the smartest, sweetest and kindest little girl I have the pleasure of knowing. Below are two of my favorite photos of Emma & her 'big sister' Samantha, (in the first photo, you can see the necklace that Samantha will have to wear for the rest of her life, labeling herself as a type 1 diabetic).
