My dogs not eating! UPDATED
So I have a 7 year old Chihuahua who has for a long time now been a picky eater. We would often have to coax her into eating her food but she would always end up eating it in the end. Well for the past 2 days she wants nothing to do with her food at all! I hear her stomach making all these gurgeling noises so I know she's definitely hungry but she wont touch her food! Not even treats! The only thing she ate yesterday with no problem was some plain grilled chicken. But OMG the gas she had for the rest of the day was horrible!  Plus, I dont want her thinknig she can not eat her food and we'll just give that to her all the time. She doesnt have any other problem with going to the bathroom or throwing up or anything so I cant figure out what her problem is  How long will she keep starving herself for? If shes not eating her food by Monday Im calling the vet but does anyone have any hints that might work in the meantime?
UPDATE: Well it looks like shes feeling better, she ate her dog food with no problem this morning and tonight. I just hope whatever it was has passed!

try sprinkleing a tiny bit of grating cheese on her food. Or if she eats dry food, add some luke warm water.

Did you chihuahua eat something out of the ordinary? Like something on the floor?
This happened to my chihuahua around Christmas. Mojo ate some food that fell on the floor and he was very sick. Wouldn't eat anything. I took him to the vet and he ended up having a blockage... So, the vet gave him doggy pepto and he was better within the next day. Don't wait and bring your little chihuahua to the vet!

Glad to hear she is okay. Chi's have such delicate bellies. I am telling you though when they get the blockage, a squirt of that medicine loosens it right up.
