? about donating school supplies??
With the new school year right around the conner I have alot of unused school supplies, which I would love to donate.. Do schools take this stuff? Any teacher need stuff.. Please let me know and I could drop it off to you or whatever you want, just trying to clean house..

What kinds of things do you have? I am a Kindergarten teacher in a poor area and we could ALWAYS use things:)

If you contact your local school they will definitely take it. I teach in a high school and at the end of the year, we do a drive for the kids to put gently used things into bins so we have it for kids the next year who need it. Contact the guidance or social work depts.!!!

thanks for all the great info.. i have to go through my bins of stuff, which i will do tomorrow..i have been sick the last couple of days. i have craft stuff also..

The Curves in Melville was having a school supply drive. In the past, Bethpage Federal Credit Union has as well.
