bunny...
my dd LOVES bunnies so we are thinking of getting one but i have a few questions.
I have 2 cats....would a bunny be ok with them?
Im sure the bunny would adjust to kids? is there a better breed to get? should i go male or female?
any help you can give is GREATLY appreciated

I have a bunny and two dogs. The dogs love to play with her by chasing her but they dont hurt her but she def. doesnt like it. I dont know how cat would react tho...I guess you should just go with your gut feeling on this one since you know your cat better than we do. Ive heard of cats and bunnies getting a long but Im sure there have been cases where the opposite occurs too. GL

I just want to say make sure you are ready for a long commitment with one because they can live into their teens. Definitely research it and I would suggest adopting one rather than buying. You will get more information about their history and personality. Check out The House Rabbit Society (www.rabbit.org) and Long Island Rabbit Rescue. We have 3 bunnies, 2 cats and a dog. We keep the bunnies separated but I know bunnies and cats can get along.
