Anyone looking for a social media position?

My company just posted this opening and it seems like a cool position, so I thought I would put it out there.

Social Media Communication Specialist:

SUMMARY

Candidate must live, sleep and breathe social media. Must have a passion for, and be well versed in Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Blogging. Candidate will be responsible for implementing new social media campaigns and propagate relevant and useful content to engage current and new consumers in conversations about our products. Must have experience with updating social media sites & blogs with new product & brand content while keeping in mind the goal of reaching a broader audience of consumers and building brand loyalty. Candidate will be responsible for understanding and managing risk in social media networks as it relates to products, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

· Assist with daily written and oral communication to media and general public through social media channels

· Assist with brand publications, internet production, and information distribution to social media networks

· Identify and communicate with "influencers" within various social media channels and networks

· Report on the effectiveness of social media tools and campaigns

· Assist with developing forward-thinking company policies on social media and digital communications.

· Assist with presenting a "new media face" for multiple brands


Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree

· Experience with strategic best practices for social media outreach to targeted audiences

· Must provide links to your primary social media communication channels for consideration

· Must provide examples of work in approach to integrating across client marketing, customer service and corporate communications departments

· Must have the ability to look forward and "evolve" with social media technology and outreach

· Ability to research, discover and utilize the latest social media tools and resources, and suggest creative ways to integrate with social media brand campaigns and communication

· Experience within the nutritional supplement and consumer packaged goods industry a plus

· Knowledge of HTML and web standards a plus

SMO positions are tough, because the best practices are still being written/argued.

This sounds like a great opportunity for someome with a bit of experience!

This position matches my degree perfectly but I dont have all the experience required
