Movement in twins

I know this has been asked before BUT i have to ask again. I'm 17 weeks 5 days. i started to feel the babies last weekend. I felt them a tleast once a day for about 3 days. Baby A i felt more that baby B. Anyway, i haven;t really felt baby B since Monday and Baby A I still feel but not as much. is this normal when you first start feeling them? I have another Dr. appointment on Monday. A lot of my friends who have been PG with singles says it's normal but with twins is this normal? I also panic over EVERYTHING!!!!!!TIA!

Re: Movement in twins

I felt my DD (Twin A) all of the time.

I only felt my DS (Twin B) once or twice.

Turns out DS's placenta was attached to the front of my uterus. The sonogram tech told me he moved just as much as her, I just couldn't feel it as the placenta acted like an "air bag"

Re: Movement in twins

yes this is exactly how i felt. i felt one more than the other and at about 19 weeks i hadn't felt Baby B move in a few days so i went in for a sono and everything was fine. at the beginning of felling them move this is how it constantly went, but then about 25 weeks i felt them both all the time!!!

Re: Movement in twins

I always felt Twin A (DS) more than Twin (B). I don't know if it was their positions or what, but everything tuned out just fine!

Re: Movement in twins

I usually felt A more than B. I think it is totally normal....I know how hard it is not to worry, though!

Re: Movement in twins

Twin A (Colette) didn't move nearly as often as Twin B (Emilia). We could get these perfect sono pics of Colette because she was so still - whereas with Emmi, all we'd get was a blur because she was constantly moving. We even said we needed to give her a name that would be monosyllabic because we'd probably be chasing after her so often.
