Anyone else celebrating the hurricane tonight?
I'm ready. Blanket tents are going up, sleeping bags will be ready!
Sigh...if i was at college we'd be making hurricanes. Even though my ways have changed, love, love, love storms.

We were at the beach this morning to watch the waves, which was so fun. We saw lots of terns and piping plovers and they were really active which was cool to watch.
I don't think we're going to get much by us so we'll see what else we do today.
I have been listening to "Goodbye Earl" all week.

Ahhh, no. We spent all day yesterday "fleeing" from the Outer Banks, NC after we were evacuated. And now, back at home in Queens, I don't even want to hear the word hurricane! If one were to actually come this way, I'd be down on my knees praying to Jesus not to knock down one of the oh....70 billion hundred year old trees on my block, not celebrating!! Although the Hurricane thing does sound yummy...oh but wait, I'm pregnant.

Nothing by us. Not a drop of rain, no wind, and hot and humid. I'm trying to convince my kids that clean up day is when there is a threat of a hurricane, and they aren't buying it.

Clean up day? I am going to have to try that one. They've been asking when No Manners Day is...
