Anyone else with night before jitters?
I feel like a 1st year teacher (not an 11 year teacher!). I am SO nervous tonight.
I just felt like such a long summer, which was great, but I feel so out of the groove. I am nervous about some staffing changes etc etc. I can't believe the butterflies I have tonight

We won't see kids till Weds, but I think I'm getting sick.  At least I will have Thurs and Fri to recupertate.
Not looking forward to hearing test-score related fallout tomorrow though.

I am ready and excited but nervous. I mean this is my 7th yr, so it is not my first time at the rodeo but it is always wierd seeing everyone again and getting back into the swing of things.

Now knock it off... at least you don't have kids tomorrow! Just pity those of us who do instead. It's sure to make you feel better.

For some reason.....I am still as relaxed today as I have been the rest of the summer! No jitters for me today....I'm excited to meet the new kids and get back into the swing!
I think what's helping me is knowing we only have 2 days of work this week
And this was my first summer off ever.....so I'm feeling incredibly spoiled by it all!

Tomorrow and Wednesday, we have conference days so I do not have too many jitters (yet). Talk to me again on Wednesday night....

Not for tomorrow....but I'm sure I will have them tomorrow night for Wednesday when I have kids. Though I don't think that many will actually show up for 1 day of classes.

I have them big time. I was supposed to teach two Honors 7th grade ELA classes and one regular 8th. They switched it to only one Honors, one regular 7th and one regular 8th. I'm not excited at all!

I'd actually rather see kids, too... except for when it's a reality... like tomorrow.
Catching up after the first week is one of the few things I'm looking forward to now. Can't wait!
