Reading in the middle school

I am interviewing for a reading position in a middle school. I am really worried since I am more of an elementary teacher. I am certified in reading. Any advice and info about program would be greatly appreciated.

I taught Middle School ELA and Reading (Special Ed). They are very focused on the ELA state test!! We did not just reading comprehension, but also listening, analysis, and essay writing.

I would definatly mention something about test prep.

I also did alot of vocabulary. I came up with different activities to help with vocab words. I also did sequencing, character traits, predictions.

Also, I think when it comes to reading, approrpiate planning is very important in terms of time. It can be very easy to get stuck on one page of a 120page book explanining something!
