Dog dirtying up my comforter :(
For those of you who let your dogs sleep on the bed with you, do you notice that the oils from the dog are discoloring the comforter? We wash our dog regularly, but when I look at the bed, I can tell exactly which spots he lays on. The comforter is brown with green leaves and cream colored swirls, and the swirls are a different color on certain spots and the brown lost its "shine". I wash the comforter with regular detergent, but do you know if there's anything else I can do?? Would a lighter comforter show the discoloration less??

We put a throw blanket down at the foot of the bed for the dog to sleep on so she doesn't ruin our comforter.

Try Woolite for dark colors. It will help a little bit.
