Dr. Wen
I searched for posts about him and have seen good things. I'd like to know what experiences any of you have had? and how you felt he compared to other vets?

Re: Dr. Wen
Our 11 year old mixed breed dog Jack was diagnosed with cancerous tumor in his heart in May. He collapsed from the tumor creating so much pressure that his blood pressure dropped. We got the diagnosis on a Sunday at the emergency Vet. We took him to our regular vet that we love and trust & he confirmed the diagnosis and said there was no cure, the only treatment to help was steroids and Jack would have 1-3 months to live We were beyond devastated. On the advice of a friend & out of desperation we took Jack to Dr Wen, he agreed with the diagnosis but stated that mixed breed dogs like Jack respond very well with this cancer to his herbal treatments & we left with bottles of herbal remedies. It has been more than three months, Jack is doing very well. We've had new x-rays of his heart & the tumor & fluid that was causing the problems has gone down dramatically. Jack has tons of energy, plays with our Puppy for hours & loves to run. Dr Wen said we are "home free", jack will live out the rest of his life on the herbs and he will live to be an old dog!!!
I swear its miraculous, we SAW the tumor on the original x-rays, we've seen Jack's health & energy level improve since starting Dr wens treatment.
Dr Wen is very matter of fact instead of warm & fuzzy, but somehow he really understands how to solve complex animal illnesses.
