Anyone with me?

So we got married almost 3 weeks ago. Day was perfect, hm was beyond perfect. Went back to work yesterday which was great b/c I love my job.

But I just feel this sadness - perhaps "wedding depression". I focused solely on the wedding for 2 years, and I feel like I have nothing now. We aren't getting a house for a year or two, and babies aren't in our immediate future - it's kinda like - what now?

I feel the same way! We will be married 3 weeks tomorrow. We aren't buying a house right away and we do not plan on having children for another 4 years.

I keep busy with school and reading.

I didn't get to do a lot of reading during the wedding process.

I feel your pain!! We are in the same situation, married labor day weekend, no house for a year or two and no babies till we have a house.

I keep looking at pictures and just thinking of how fast the day went after 9 months of planning

i didnt have that feeling. i loved my wedding and i recently got my video-i am so obsessed with watching it! but there are so many great things to look forward to with your dh. enjoy this time ogether, relax and enjoy that there are no plans to be made.

although i didnt miss the planning aspect, i love entertaining, and dh and i do a lot of that now. maybe you guys should host some dinner parties, wine tastings, movie/game nights at your place and it will help with the planning aspect that you miss. HTH

I do miss wedding planning a lot!!!!! . . . I really was never stressed to the point that I wanted it to be over. I had such a great experience.

I am in the same boat, we are not buying a house for a year or 2 and no babies until after that. WAY AFTER. hah!

I am super busy with work and I have a ton of freelance to keep me busy. I try to plan dates with my DH even small one during the week so we don't get board.

NOPE!

I had an amazing wedding and never let it go to my head. I knew it would be over. It's just one day.

I am beyond HAPPY to be over with it, to not worry or stress about it. I cried the day after..tears of JOY that everything turned out so wonderfully. If you put too much pressure on it, thats why you feel depressed.

I am so happy its over and I can focus on ME again and DH and I can start the next chapter of our lives!

I did feel like that for about 2-3 months after my wedding, and then it went away.

I was able to start focusing on other things. I had so much more time on my hands! It gets better and you find things to do. I started reading more, took 4 levels of cake decorating, and now crochet classes.

You maybe wanna focus on your home, work, children.... who knows!!
