Ohh the irony...
So, after my D&E we were told to use protection when we  because it wouldn't be safe for me to conceive before 8wks.
I went through fertility treatments to get pregnant so the possibility of me just getting pregnant on my own is VERY low (think, miracle baby) .. but ya never know.. So get this -
I'm married .. my DH and I want a baby more than ANYTHING in the world....... I have fertility issues....... and we have to use condoms   
This world is so twisted.
Anyway, 15 days till I'm back to the RE!!!!!

Funny, on the way to the doctor's today I thought about the same thing. Before seeing the RE and figuring out what is wrong with me, we should probably use condoms. Don't want to go through another miscarriage! I hate condoms and I'm married and yet I find we STILL have to use them. What the hell?!

I was told to use condoms after my d & c so I dont get pg before I get my first AF and then can start trying. I know I said the same thing, the irony. I hate them too.

yea it s*cks, aaaaaand at 2 weeks post D&C when DH & I used one, it came off inside me  We obviously forgot how to use them. I had to tell my OB at my follow up and he said 'well, maybe I'll see you in 2 weeks then.' Thankfully I did not get PG 2 weeks post D&C, I would have been a wreck.

 that is ironic and I can totally relate to how you feel. When Dr B first diagnosed I had an overactive immune system (high NK cells) I couldnt help but seriously laugh my a$$ off since I am literally the biggest hypochondriac in the world. "Worlds biggest hypochondriac has an IMMUNE system that works TOO WELL" seriously gotta love it.

I know a few people who had fertility issues and had to go the IVF route the first time, but after they had their babies & even 1 or 2 that had MC's, got pg VERY easily on their own the next time - sometimes not even trying to get pg, they just asssumed they wouldn't.
