New Here...
Just got back from my sono and we are having twins!!  So excited! We lost a set of identical twins around Mother's Day w/e this year at over 4 months pregnant. But they were mono/mono twins. This time they are fraternal twins!! Hopefully we are off to a much better start than last time. Odds were just really stacked against us :(
Baby A 6mm measured 6w3d heart rate 117
Baby B 5mm measured 6w2d heart rate 115
so far so good!!

Mono Mono twins are identicals in which the egg split late and they share EVERYTHING. 70% of them develop a membrane between them which acts as a safety net so they cant get tangled up, but unfortunately mine did not develop such membrane. That makes them even more high risk than normally. It makes the mortality rate VERY high and is a very tough pregnancy to make it through. There is nothing at all that you can do to prevent them from knotting their cords and you feel very helpless :( Unfortunately we were not a success story.
That is why although I thought it would have been awesome to have identical twins I am very happy to be having fraternal twins this time around.
