Only saw one baby
So I went today, Dr B had a hard time seeing anything because he said my uterus is a weird shape and the sound waves were bouncing off of it. he was able to see the baby and the yolk and I go back Thursday to see the HB, Ill be 6 weeks on Thursday. He said everything was normal but he only sees one. he originally saw 2 sacs. What if I go back and this one is gone to? Why does this happen? Do you think the other could still be there and he just cant see it yet-he looked for a few minutes...i am 5 weeks and 5 days along...A little bummed and now im scared too...

Re: Only saw one baby
Hang in there.
I didn't find out I was having twins until I was past 7 weeks. And its because I have a tilted uterus. So once they saw the one yolk sac they never even thought to look for more. It wasn't until my HCG level was up at 30,000 that they thought it might be a multiple pregnancy. My uterus is so "droopy" even a couple of weeks ago when I was 9 weeks they were having a hard time finding Baby A.
And at this point, I would think if you were miscarrying you would feel cramps and/or have bleeding.
Try not to stress and just see what happens later in the week.
