Anyone ever make photo magnets before?
I wanted to make photo magnets similiar to the Save the Dates that brides send out.
Where do you get the magnets?
What should the size of the image be or the resolution?

The magnets u can purchase at Staples.
Im not sure of the resolution but I believe the way you download to your computer is the way you would use since it will offer the best picture quality. You would use your printer setup or word to set up the size of picture/magnet.
I havent dont it myself but considered it for STD.

ETA: For size, magnets come in the business card size which is 2x3

You can upload the picture to the site, make the cards, order them and all you have to do is add the magnet to the back.

They also come in sheets of 8 1/2 x 11. That's how I usually buy them... and then I just use a paper cutter to cut them up...

I got the magnets I used to make my STDs from Magnet Valley
magnet valley
The prices were pretty good, I thought. I got the 20 mil thickness and they worked fine.

Sorry stefanie, I just saw this. I have a card making program that allows me to make business cards. So I printed out the cards first and then stuck them to the magnets. (This is how I made the STDs for our wedding)
