Picture day in school: what should he wear?
This Tuesday is my son's K-class picture day. What do you think he should wear? Nice dark slacks and a button down shirt? Or something less formal and more relaxed, like khakis and a cute bright long sleeved T (he has some nice ones)?
This is my first experience with a child in Public School system so forgive the ignorance! :)

I would do the khakis and nice long-sleeved. I think kids should look nice in pics, but it shouldn't be super formal...
Bella has hers on Wednesday. I am thinking a skirt and tights...nothing too crazy.

Jacob had his kindergarten picture last week.
He wore army green cargo pants and his shirt was a t-shirt looking shirt attched to a plaid button down shirt underneath. I got it at Denny's
I didn't wnat him to look too formal and not to casual either.

He wore a short sleeve polo shirt with dark jeans.

We let DS wear what he wants. I'd rather have him happy and smiling in a t-shirt, than grumpy and frowning in a button-down shirt.
Plus, I figure, it's a picture of HIM. HE is a t-shirt kind of person, not a dress-up person, so it will capture his personality better if he wears what represents him at this point.

We usually do slacks/jeans & a button down. Looking back on school picture, you can always tell when I've forgotten it was picture day.
What did you pick?
