Suffolk GTG - Let's do it!

We've chatted about it, now let's do it!

We need to narrow down a day, place and time. I'm putting two weeks out there and we can narrow down a day/time:

Week of November 8
Week of November 15

It gives us a little time to plan schedules.

There are some of us that live out east, maybe we can agree up on a mid point so no one has to drive too far to go home or get there. Here are some suggestions, new and from the previous post:

Milk & Sugar - Bayshore
Irish Times Pub & Restaurant - Holbrook
New Grand Buffet (chinese) - Islandia
Smokey Bones - Ronkonkoma
Something around SmithHaven Mall - there is a Bennigans, Cheesecake Factory, etc.
Something in North Babylon - alot of restuarants

I'm not opposed to the Melting Pot, but Farmingdale is far for anyone living further east.

i would love to come, if it winds up working with my crazy work schedule! either tuesday of those weeks would work best for me... but i will try to come regardless. smithaven mall area would be closest for me, but again, if it winds up working with my schedule - i'm game for anywhere.

Well since I am in retail with crazy hrs, I really won't know until that week what I could do but I vote for Irish Times or Cheesecake Factory

New Grand Buffet - we used to go there all the time, but the last time we went the food was AWFUL and they don't even serve beer anymore. We need to go somewhere where they serve alcohol...

what is milk & sugar?

Re: Suffolk GTG - Let's do it!

I've always seen John Harvards and never tried it, but it's an excellent location.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a date?

John harvards is a great idea - I have no idea which dates, November is a bad month in retail so I would have to say eberyone else decide and if I can come then I will if I am not workingChat Icon

Re: Suffolk GTG - Let's do it!

Sorry, I blipped off the radar again, last week DH tore his ACL, it's been a hellish week. He will have to have surgery and is home from work - I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to organize anything, between taking care of him and the house, running to dr appts and with holidays coming, I will have no time to get to anything after work. His surgery is the end of December and then I am having surgery the beginning of January so it leaves me totally out for awhile.

Sorry! Chat Icon
