Drs. suspect ectopic... but i think i miscarried already

My beta only went from 713 to 918 over 5 days... i honestly think i miscarried tuesday night / Wednesday morning...

i had horrible pains on tuesday night and vomiting... wednesday morning i had a decent gush of blood... i didnt see anything in it... but at less than 6 weeks idk how much i would have seen...

my gut is telling me that my numbers are on their way down rather than not going up as rapidly as they should...

how long does it usually take for your beta to get back to 0?

awww Angela... I'm sooo sorry to hear this. I'm sorry you had to become a part of this board.

So, do you know if you miscarried naturally? How long did you bleed for? You should have a heavy like period if you are miscarrying naturally.

I think the doctor might have to check via sono to see if everything is out. If not then sometimes a DNC is put on the table.

What did the doctor say your next steps are?

I'm not sure about how long the beta takes to get to 0. I think it could vary. For me I was at 11 weeks when I mc and they never tested my beta while I was pregnant or after I miscarried... so I have no clue as to how long it took. They did tell me to wait 1 full cycle before trying again.

I just wanted to send some much needed As far as the beta question, I was told to wait 2 cycles or 8wks to try again. Since I used an RE to get pregnant the first time, I waited 8wks to start up treatments again.

I use a dollar store HPT at around 4-6wks post D&E and it was negative. I was 17.5wks along when I had the procedure.

I know how much this truly stinks

I'm so sorry you're going through this, they def will have to check if you passed everything!!!!I miscarried early at 5 weeks and doc only wanted me waiting one cycle!

I'm sorry. If I remember correctly, it took about a week or so..maybe a little longer? It was 5 years ago though, so I forget.

I just want to say how really sorry you are going through this. I dont know the answer to your question b/c my doctor never discussed my numbers with me and I dont know about it. I had M/C earlier this year but it was a missed miscarriage and I had to have a D & C. I hope you are feeling ok.

oh and as far as the numbers dropping it took me a week. I was at 1100 though.

I am so sorry for your loss

I never had my numbers done even when I had to wait a week to see if my baby had a heartbeat and that was at 8wks 6days. After I had my DC I still didn't have my numbers check

Last year, I m/c at 6w4d. My numbers took 3 weeks to get down to 0.

all they did today was take blood... i will know tomorrow at 3ish what the beta is... and hopefully from there i will have answers... thanks everyone!!!!

I am sorry you are going through this. I had a mc in August and they never checked my levels. I had to wait one cycle and then could try again.

Sorry this is happening

I didn't know my numbers when I had my ectopic, but I was in an emerg situation and had to have immediate surgery.

My OB instructed that I wait 3 months or 3 cycles to try again.

Im really sorry you are going through this.. I just went throught it 3 1/2 weeks ago. I was just completing 7 weeks. I bled for about 5 days, and then stained for another 4 or 5 days. Never really passed anything significant. However, had to get my betas checked weekly...The day after my m/c my Betas were at 680...it took 3 weeks for mine to finally reach 0. My doctor also said to wait at least one cycle before ttc again! Sending a your way! Hang in there, we are all here for you!
