This is Tank
He is our foster pup. A girlfriend of ours does private rescue efforts for hard to place breeds and he is with us while she conducts interviews for prospective parents. Because he's a puppy she has DOZENS of people interested.
I had forgotten a few things.
1. Puppies are HARD work!!! Seriously hard. It's like having another baby in the house. One that doesn't mind pooping on the floors, chewing on socks and growling at toys. Taking him out OFTEN to do his business - and still getting accidents that need to be cleaned on the floors and the area rugs is frustrating. Making sure he gets plenty of exercise, lots of fresh water and that he's toweled off each time he comes in from rolling all over the backyard can be tiring!
2. Puppies are expensive. Food, vet visits, toys, trainers, treats, etc.. I'm sure there are 'cheaper' ways to do things.. but if you do it right, it's 
3. Puppies are sweet. Coming home and having this little nugget get excited to see you - wagging that little nub and butting his head against you is priceless. He's curious, active and hilarious.
I'm trying not to get too attached since chances are that he's only ours for a couple of weeks.. but boy is it hard with a face like that!!

Aww, adorable :) My dogs name is Tank too.
I've seen a little guy that looks just like that walking past our house and have been telling my husband I want one! So cute!

Adorable! OMG! We adopted ours from North Shore Animal League when she was 10 wks old, so I know what you mean about hard work!!! but it is worth it! We have a 10 month old black lab / hound mix.....can you say ...handful but I adore her!!! I hope Tank finds a good home...if he hasn't already ...LOL!

He's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! This is why I can't foster dogs, I'd just wind up wanting to keep 'em! But it's a great thing you're doing!! Enjoy him while you have him.
And Tank- what an appropriate name! Look at those MASSIVE paws! I love it!

Don't admire me! It's much harder than I thought it would be to think of giving him up. We have the option to keep him and I am firm in the fact that we will not.. but my husband is becoming very convinced that we should. I'm nervous about the impending storm.
