Oh no no no no

a few months ago i rescued a cat. I brought her to the vet got a clean bill of health. RIGHT.

The cat was an outdoor cat only, since with me only indoors.


Yesterday, i noticed a belly, nipples and yeah i feel something.

thinking back to the vet, she did never check to see if she had a scar from being fixed.

The vet opens at 9 and I am going to call them. If she is. After they are ready to adopted out. I am going to ask the vet to help getting them adopted out. Being she did not check, she should help. Then Abby Tabby Doo will be getting fixed!!!!!

Please PRAY that she is NOT pg.

eta: I do not know of her getting out. But I do have a teenager here who might not have told me that she did

I just called the vet. She goes tuesday to get checked. They are not the brightest bunch there.So i found out. I was like ugg i am so not ready for this. She was like well there are things you can do, I was like well she was there and they did not check(i had to get a little snootie) if she was fixed. Well she is 6 months, i was like umm no they told me she was about 7 years old. She said well the computer says she is 6 months,.
I think I will be going back to my old vet after this visit.

A few months ago? Gestational periods in cats are only about 9 weeks. If she hasn't been outside since you have had her, she is probably not pregnant.

yea, if she was pregnant when you found her she would have had the kittens by now unless she's gotten out and been sperminated since then!

what exactly are you feeling?

all animals have nipples... my male cats have nipples and one of them has a pretty big belly and they're obviously not preggo

OBVIOUSLY I am feeling the nipples MORE so then they where. The hair is gone from around them. Not all but some of them. An no need for the laughing guy. I would ASUME you would have known what I meant but the nipples. I guess not.

PS. I have 9 animals all together. ALL ARE FIXED.

she could be just getting fat. My once outdoor now indoor cat (stray we adopted) we thought was preggers and went to two vets to confirm she was fixed and that she is just getting fat. Her nipples are popping out as well.

First of all, there's a chance she got out and she's prego- not the absolute worst thing in the world. We didn't know our cat was prego until we found my mother's bed writhing with little kittens one day. She was fine. Don't worry, either way it'll work out.

And relax, don't get so defensive. Nobody was poking fun at you or doing anything but help you. Good luck!
