Pre Natal Tablets
Hi,
I am new on here and am 10 weeks pregnant...so imagine I will be on a lot over the coming months...
When I went for my first doctors visit they have me 7 diffrent Pre Natal packs to try... I hate taking tablets of any kind so its a struggle for me....the first pack I took had me awake all night with these wild - not steamy just weird, wild dreams so I nixed them....I have tried two others and while they are okay...the taste is awful...
Did anyone find a magic pill? Looking for something small in size, to be taken once a day, with no side effects... what are the chances?

Well, they're not really small, but I take them once a day and I can take them with or without food at anytime of day. I love them. I have bad luck with vitamins too, so I love these. They're called Prenate Elite. They don't have a flavor either. I just take them with something to drink to wash them down. They are a prescription so you'll need to get them from your OB/GYN. They do have trials. Good luck!

I take Prenate Elite, as well! I got them as a sample from my dr., and asked to have a prescription, because they were the least upsetting to my stomach.

First of all Welcome and Congrats!!! I am also 10 weeks. I am taking Citrical. They haven't bothered me at all. Actually, they have a laxative in them so you don't get constipated as much.

Thanks everyone...I really appreciate the feedback...all the doc did was throw some in the bag and woudlnt comment on whether one was more popular than the other....I guess everyone reacts diffrent but a little feedback might have helped!
Thats why these boards are a life saver.

I started with citrical and hated them, now IO take prenate elite and them make me sick too but not as bad.
I take them the second before I go to sleep.

I actually just take regular old Centrum vitamins - no side effects at all

I don't mind the ones I got from the Dr's office, but many ladies take Flinstones vitamins or they make gummy vitamins (they are like gummy bears) which would be easy to chew. As long as you are getting 800 mcg of folic acid...that's what you need.

I take Citracal and haven't had any problems yet. I also take them right before bed.

I have been taking natell-ez for the past 3 nights and they seem to be working okay.
fjbaby - I was taking citracal and they were given me wild dreams... so had to cut them out...
I guess everyones body is diff and that is why they load you up with lots of samples....

It was me who said I took Centrum - did it with my first and now with my second. My doc didn't say anything about there not being enough iron but I'm a HUGE meat eater  (its not me, its the baby LOL).
Glad you found something that agrees with you finally!!!!

I take the Target brand of prenatals (they are just like the Stewart Brand of prenatals) I have no side effects at all. I take them with breakfast.
