Vitamins
If your child takes vitamins which ones do you give them?
My DS is 10 and I have been giving him the poly vitamins with fluoride the chewable ones, my prescription ran out and I thought about OTC but which ones?
There are so many choices but are they good or are they really just "candy"?
TIA

Re: Vitamins
I use the prescription from the doctor still. He usually gives me enough refills for 6-12 months. I have run out before and I just call him and pick up a new one.

Re: Vitamins
I can get a refill in fact it doesn't cost me anything for the prescription..no copays on generics..
I just wasn't sure if I should keep giving him those particular vitamins with the fluoride. His dentist told me that he doesn't need them anymore, since he gets a fluoride treatment at the dentist..
I will call his pediatrician and see if they will call it in.

Re: Vitamins
I took the presciption vitamins until I was about 16 yrs old. I have only had 2 caviites in my whole mouth so I am a big fan of those vitamins and I will keep DD on them as long as possible.
