This was the year, I finally made our stockings
For the past two years, I have been saying I would make stockings for all of us and other projects for other people always come up.
So finaly this year, I made the time and made the stockings  My Mom did the embroidery for me on her awesome machine.
This is mine and DHs:
DSSs and DSs:
and DSs contribution to the project - he noticed that when I press the foot pedal the sewing machine turns on, so when I lifted my foot he decided to press the pedal with his hand. SO now we have a nice zigzag across one of DHs stars. I decided to leave it, as a little memory each time we pull out the stockings for Christmas

Thanks I'm pretty excited and really like how they turned out - even the surfing santas - my two year old picked out his own fabric

i wish i knew how to sew!!
i've been working on knitted stocking for YEARS... something always changes what i had planned (this year it's that the family exploded exponentially lol)
they look great and i love the story that will go with your DH's stocking!

Did you get a pattern for these or are you just that good? I have been doing a stocking for Liam for a year and I am getting sooo tired of it. I think I am starting to hate it. But, I love yours!

Thanks! I wish I could knit - crochet is as far as I have gotten with yarn Good Luck with your stockings, I can imagine knitting them would take YEARS!!!

Thanks so much everyone for the comments, it feels good to have tem finished AND to be happy with them too
I did use a pattern, it came from a book

I did a little mixing between the patterns, to get what I was after. The ideas in the book are great and the patterns are pretty easy to follow however they lack diagrams, so I had to visualize everything before I did it, which was a little taxing on my preggo brain
