Cricut- Sure Cuts A Lot Help
I am making Christmas cards and need to write Merry Christmas using my cricut. For some reason I can not get the letters to weld in sure cuts a lot and I there is something strange going on w/the regular cricut program. I don't want to have the letters individual b/c that will take me forever to glue them all on. Can someone tell me what I should be doing. I type out the words and I have "weld" check and they look connected on the program but then it cuts the letters individually. Also, if anyone has or knows of where I can get a free svg file w/it already done in connected cursive that would be helpful too. TIA

I haven't figured out welding in SCAL but I got a lot of help from you tube trying to learn how to create the vector files. Maybe check there for some instruction.
The image Lisa posted is really nice. And if that doesn't work for your project I would check the forums on CraftEdge.com or google free svg Christmas files and something is sure to turn up.

Do you like SCAL? I am torn between that and MTC. I can't decide.
personally I like MTC better...its more user friendly. I feel with SCAL you need to understand vector files and how to manipulate the shapes.
