I put my tree up the day before Thanksgiving.

I have a Santa holiday countdown mat.



I put red bows all around.

I decorate handles around the house.

Red pillows for the couch.

Holiday themed candles around.

Our lobby also has a tree and icicle lights outside.

Of course!!!

We're getting our tree tonight but won't be decorating it until sometime on Saturday.

I set up a village of little figures from the classic Rudolph special on a shelf.

Another shelf gets inundated with various small Christmas stuffed animals (think like beanie baby size).

We have to figure out where to hang the stockings.

I put candles out with different festive scents.

Oh, and I just bought myself the cutest electric fireplace. It doubles as a space heater. I know they're a wee bit tacky BUT sometimes a little tacky can be fun. I like it, anyway! So that will be in our living room as well, though not near the tree at all. Real tree + heat = no bueno!

I would love too.. but my furbaby decides to rip apart stuff, climb and bite on decorations.. so we will only have a wreath outside out apt door.. where can never reach..

I always think...no kids...what's the point??? But I always end up doing it, I do love the Christmas decorations and I love the tree lit in the living room with all the other lights out, it's kind of romantic too

This year we have our Goddaughter for all of the holidays from the 17th until the 2 of January, so I was excited to decorate for her. ALthough I'm waiting for her to come to actually put the ornaments on the tree.

Yup! We do the tree, put lights on the house, and have decorations all over the place inside (candles, snowflake towels for the bathroom, decorative snowman pillows for the couch...) - I love decorating!

We don't put much up, he's catholic and i'm jewish and both of us are not practicing but I put up snowmen in the house, i have a Christmas gingerbread man on the door, small stuff. We've never had a tree or a menorah.

Plus we always go away for the holidays; 2 weeks in florida here we come!!!

Absolutely, if we didn't I think both of our parents would come over and do it for us, as a just because type of thing

yes we put up a tree and did some decorations outside (but not lights), i figure we will have to go all out once we have kids! lol

This is our first year in the house, so we are just slowly accumulating items...I hope to have more next year.

Right now we have...

Inside: Christmas tree, two stockings, singing Christmas penguin, A statue of the Holy Family, Nativity scene in our window, Statue of Santa genuflecting before Baby Jesus, Santa and a snowman on our windows.

Outside: Nativity scene with the Holy Family and a lamb, Santa and a reindeer, two carolers and an old time outdoor light with a wreath, lights around our fence, and candy cane archways.

Yes, always have! We've been married for 6 years and have put up decorations the whole time. I decorated when I wasn't married, too.

I am like the biggest child when it comes to the holidays! We decorate for every holiday. Especially christmas! Christmas tree is up, the hallway is decorated, christmas centerpieces are out and the window lights are hopefully going up tonight :)

OK, am I the only one who doesn't decorate?? I'm just not into it. I put the cards we receive on the mantle but that's it. And I take them down on Dec. 26 because the clutter drives me nuts.

I would probably make more of an effort if we were hosting family or friends for the holidays.

Of course, it never crossed my mind that it was for parents only. We've always went out and gotten the tree, then put on some holiday music while we decorate.

Each year, we do more and more, so this year I spread out the decorating over two weeks. First the outside, then the villages, then the tree, and this week I'm finishing up. We love it, it looks nice!

I even found antlers for the dogs so we're going to take pics of them in front of the tree.

We were away for the last two weeks so I'm a little light on the decorating this year but we ususally go all out!! I have giant toy soldiers on my front lawn along with some other stuff and then inside we have the tree and I have tubs and tubs of holiday decorations. I did about half this year, not sure if I'm going to put the rest up.

I married Mr. Christmas!! DH loves this time of year - we have our tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving and take it down after little Christmas....

He had the lights up the weekend after thanksgiving.

We're always concerned about ornaments and the furbabies...but we know we have to give one or two up to the "xmas tree meets dogs wagging tail" gods... so the 'good' stuff goes on top!

Yes I love Christmas decorations! My DH is really into it & does a great job.
