Where can I find a non-hoochie dress for DD?
I still need to get a Christmas Dress for her, but I am not having any luck. Since she is not a size 6x anymore, I haven't found anything cute- or even close to appropriate for a 6 year old.
I want some sort of sleeve-not a tank. I also want a Christmas color- red,green,paid,etc. Everything I have found in a size 7, looks like a cheesey, Junior Prom Dress.
HELP!

Does it have to be a dress? Land's End has some adorable plaid skirts, red skirts. They have cute jumpers too.

I got Ava this beautiful plaid skirt with toole underneath and a black sweater with sequins on the neck.

My sister & I helped my brother go shopping for our niece two weeks ago. She is also a size 7. We had a hard time finding her something. we ended up with a skirt/shirt & sweater combo from Childrens Place.
Unfortunetly the shirt & skirt are blue & the sweater is white but we where just too tired to look anymore.

Um, I actually bought Ava's in KMart
This is the first year I let her pick her dress and she hated everything, but loved this.

It's hard once they get out of 6x size. I've found that Burlington, Gymobree, Gap are descent.

I was just in Kohl's and they had some really cute not babish not hoochieish. I also agree with Target. Some adorable skirts and cardigan's.

lori i saw the one you were talking about adorable!!!! i was going to suggest target too!! they have some really cute girls dresses and skirts yesterday when i was there!
