I have such a hard time watching movies after I've read the book.. and I LOVED that book. I'll wait until it comes out on cable.

i thought the same thing- very good casting there
whats up with the old version of Jacob- why is he out and about- not in the nursing home? he also was supposed to be thin and frail but that actor looks more healthy and robust.
why dont they just stick to the story

I agree about the robust part. As for him out and about... at the end he walked out of the nursing home and went to the circus.
