I have no experience with these things, but please get 2nd, 3rd opinions. I am sorry that doctor was so horrible to you.

I am soo sorry you are going through all of this! I do not have any experience with this but you should get more opinions. Not sure what kind of Dr you were seeing but if you need a high risk Dr. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kofinas in garden city. He is the best! But again I am not sure if he is the type of dr you need to see!
Lots of that everything is ok!!!

I agree, definitely see a high risk doc, if you aren't already seeing one. Good luck with everything and just try to stay calm...you don't have enough information yet. Absolutely get another opinion! I had all kinds of issues during my pregnancy and freaked out each time. Thankfully, everything turned out ok. So, I learned that I needed to stay calm for the babies and just deal with things as they came.
Sending you lots of prayers that your LOs are ok

Re: fluid in the brain??
Thank u so much girls! I have def calmed down a little more because in my heart I know and feel that both my babies will be ok. My doctors will send me for second opinions and I will DEF see dr kofinas on my own for a third opinion. I have heard such great things about him but everything was going so well I didn't think I would need to visit him yet. Thank u for all the prayers.

Re: fluid in the brain??
When I went for my Level I sono at 12 weeks the high risk OB mentioned TTTS (twin to twin syndrome) and told me there was a chance I'd need to go to Philly for a special procedure where they laser the umbilical cord.
When I went for my next OB appt. I mentioned it to her and she said the babies were so small at that point it was probably just a bad measurement.
I am now 22 weeks and have had no signs of TTTS since 12 weeks. I don't think TTTS is as common as the high risk doctors make it seem. I feel we go for so many sonos they are looking for something to be wrong versus looking that everything is good.
I have no experience with fluid on the brain.
My first suggestion is to call your regular OB and tell them what happened and what they think you should do.

Re: fluid in the brain??
i was going for a sono 1x/wk from 16 weeks on to monitor for TTTS. if you are pregnant with identical twins and they are sharing a placenta its very important that you are monitored very carefully in case your twins develop it. im glad you are getting a second opinion.
good luck!
