Thank you very much...
I started spotting on Wednesday...it was very light spotting...
Yesterday I started spotting a little bit more...
Today I have a full red blood flow...
I thought that I should start counting cycle days on the day that I actually get full red blood flow...which would be today...
I just called my ob/gyn's office to see if it's possible to get this test done tomorrow (Saturday)...which would technically only be CD 2...
The nurse said no...that I should try to find somewhere to get it done on Sunday...
But, then went on to confuse me because she said that I should start counting cycle days from the day I see blood (which she included spotting days)...which technically that would then be Wednesday and I should go today for this test...
I don't know what to do... 
The nurse did say that the doctor would be calling in soon and she'd speak to her about it and the doctor would maybe call me back...
But, if anyone can clarify for me if I should start counting cycle days from the day I start spotting or count cycle days from the first day of full blood flow...I'd appreciate it.

Hmmm, Im not 100% sure what day you should do it, BUT I do know they told me CD 3 and up to CD 5 for FSH usually bears the same results. SO....You can have like a 2 day window there. No worries

Thank you Donna...I'm really going crazy over this...and the nurse just called me back...and said...
The doctor said it would be ok for me to go for this test on CD 2 which I would consider tomorrow (Saturday) because that will be my second day of a full red blood flow...
But again started to confuse me when she said that I should count cycle days as when I see blood...do you consider "seeing blood" when you're spotting?

No, If its light spotting I dont count it as a CD. My Dr says the same, Full flow is what they refer to it as.
Spotting is occasionaly NOT part of this months AF but TMI...Leftover from lasts month and doesnt truly count.
Depends though on what spotting means. To me its very light...like here and there through out the day.
If I see any "Red" at all, I consider that AF and day 1.

my RE has always said first day of full flow, because I always get spotting and then very light for a day or two. Good luck!

I'm responding late, you've probably already had the tests done but I've always been told that day 1 is full blood flow before midnight.
I hope your tests went well!
