27 year old man charged with animal abuse.
Manhattan Man Busted for Animal Cruelty
Earlier this month the ASPCA announced the arrest of a Manhattan man for abandoning a disabled animal.
On April 16, Aram Ortiz’s five-month-old female Basenji was found lying severely injured on the pavement near Ortiz’s home on East 51st Street. Sophie was removed to the Animal Medical Center, where she died of her injuries. ASPCA investigators determined that Sophie had fallen from the roof and laid on the ground below for 1 1/2 hours before receiving veterinary attention.
On June 15, ASPCA Special Agent Joseph Lemos charged the 27-year-old man with one count of animal cruelty and one count of abandonment of a disabled animal. Ortiz faces a maximum sentence of two years in prison

POOR DOG, there are too many freakiing idiotic, insensitive people in this world for my taste. Gosh, I am just so sad now.

POOR DOG, there are too many freakiing idiotic, insensitive people in this world for my taste. Gosh, I am just so sad now.
It is only normal to feel sad. But this is such a good start for those who abuse animals.
Think about it. If this do this to animals, imagine what they would do to a human.

Problem is that he probably won't actually serve any time in jail, and if he does, it will be extremely short..... the laws need to change.

I hate reading things like this. It makes me feel like there is no hope for future humanity
On a side note: I read an article that stated many serial killers and abusers tortured and abused animals in their younger years.
