Giving a cat eye drop and liquid medicine- need advice....

My new cat has pink eye- according to the vet this is very common when you get a new cat. While she is a mush, I am very intimatated giving her eye drops and oral antibiotics. I have successfully given it to her 2x already, but could use some pointers/ advice . I wrapped her in a blanket to give it to her this am, it was easier, but the liquid antibiotic took 2 tries to get it down. I watched some videos on the internet, etc. Any other suggestions/ advice/ tips? I give her treats when I am done. She is tolerating me giving it to her, we have her 2 weeks, so I am still getting to know her. Thanks in advance.
PS Her eye was a lot better this morning already.

for the oral antibiotics.. i just stick the dropper by the side of his mouth and release.. sometimes if the positioning is right, i try to stick the tip in between his teeth..

as for eyedrops.. that's hard.. i think you are doing it the best way i could think of.. its hard, but she's getting better right..
