Language units of study?
I'm trying to do small units on Language with my kiddos. It's a wee bit ambitious, but I think the exposure is important.
Any suggestions, websites, etc?
I'm basically looking for Spanish, since I have a simple Latin and French thing going.
Also, what could I use to introduce Latin, French and Spanish?
I'm thinking foods and books.
For instance, for French, I could read Madeline. But what is an easy food for them?
Same with Spanish.
Thank you!!!

Re: Language units of study?
I know the Spanish teacher in my school does the Very Hungry Caterpillar with the 3rd or 4th graders. It's a story they all know, so they can pick up the vocabulary quickly. She has pictures of the different foods that the caterpillar eats and the students come up to a chart on the SmartBoard with the Spanish days of the week and they put the right number of food for each day. (You could do this without the smartboard, but it's just more prep time to cut out the food and make the large chart)
