Wow..

How do "people" spend almost all day on the phone doing the bare minimum still have a job?

I wonder this everyday.

Also, how do they call in the entire week before Christmas (while having no sick/vacation time left), take off the entire week before New Years (last minute), and then call in the Wednesday she comes back to work? And she's the one on the phone daily. And she's 1/2 hour late every morning. But I get docked out of my personal time for being 2 minutes late this morning.

On the up side, although it took awhile, I have noticed my employer slowly making examples out of people who have been there for awhile, acting similarly.

I don't think it always goes unnoticed----I just think unfortunately it takes awhile to get rid of people like this.

I just don't get why they tolerate it. The bar is set so low.

She is so behind on her work for one of her managers yet she leaves exactly at 5:30 everyday and doesn't come in 1 minute before 9.

We are hiring someone for that manager since she can't handle it and she is purposely not doing the work until that person is hired. It could be another 3-4 weeks before that person is hired. She knows it.

I just don't get it.

In my dept., they're finally cracking down. Write-ups and probation and termination...I don't wanna see anyone fired, but at some point, it's better for the dept. I am doing the workload of 2 FT employees

and there she goes, back on the phone..this time using her boss' office for the call.

she has done 2 things all day.

When someone called her and asked her what she's up to she said, oh, just working with this heavy sigh..

I wish I could. The thought has crossed my mind.

I just got word that my referral was first in line for the job for her other manager who she ignores.

She will run circles around her.

I also told that manager that my friend will raise the bar for the staff. He looked at me and knew what I was talking about.

I guess I will just sit back and see what happens.

Im getting laid off in few weeks ...at first was so upset ..now Im sorta glad I
will never have to work with the "screw the system" "dont care abt my job" "whats in it for ME" idiots at my job.

These ppl are sad sacks of sh!t. IMO they shld not be employed, there are a lot ppl who need jobs and they just have that "f it" attitude.

I truely believe what goes around comes around...they will get thiers.
