Itchy Skin

Hi ladies!

So I've been up all night...I can't seem to sleep. I've been drinking plenty of water and moisturizing my body, but I woke up at 1am because my skin felt so uncomfortable touching fabrics. My bedsheets were bothering me and so was my pajamas. I took a shower but I'm still uncomfortable in my own skin. Of course I'm freaking myself out a bit by searching the Internet but, has anyone else experienced similar symptoms?

I actually just went to the dr. for this and he said my symtoms were just a ash. At first I thought it was PUPPPS but he doesn't believe that it is. It has since gone away but I still have some itching at times. I was also told by a few ladies on this board to as about cholestasis? I forgot and am going to ask on Thursday when I go.

i had this with the twins, but i was allergic to the zofran, and then i got pupps. it could just be the dryness from the heat.

i had Cholestasis late in my pregnancy . the itchiness was just insane. .my whole body, it was seriously a nightmare.. i couldnt sleep

you should definitely get checked for cholestasis , i think its more common with multiples. not sure though.

I get itchy skin every winter and I'm prone to eczema The sides of my belly itch and my legs especially. Hot showers don't help! Ive been putting the Mothers special blend oil on my belly and just started putting it on my legs since they itched so bad and it has really helped!!!

Thanks so much ladies! My next doctor's appointment is on Tuesday. Hopefully I can sleep tonight!

Had the itchy skin. It started on my hands and feet and went to my belly. They tested me for that liver thing. I was negative. it was the worst experience I ever had to deal with. My dr. recommended Benedryl for the itchying. Which really only made me tired.
