I got the genetic results back
It was a normal girl 
They told me there is a small possibility that they could have grown my cells because 46xx could also be me, since I am a normal female, but they are going on as if they grew the baby's cells.
They said it happens. There could have been something else wrong and sometimes it just happens for whatever reason.
The bright side (if there is one) is I have less to worry about next time I guess, as far as genetics go. I said I wasn't sure if this was good news or bad news. Meaning not knowing why. They told me to take it as good news. I guess I will have less fears next time as far as genetics. I know if they found something I would be worrying about it happening again in future pregnancies.
I still have to worry about miscarrying again though. I hope this was just a fluke. I keep going over everything in my head wondering if there was something I did  Or what if there is something wrong with me and my ability to hold a pregnancy? I don't want to go through this again. 
I know my husband is upset. He was dying for a  He won't say it, but I know he had his heart set on a daughter.
At least I can start to move on now. Please pray for me girls.

This was teh same for us. My first pregnancy ended in finding no heartbeat at 10wks. I had a D&C and the genetic testing. It was a girl & it too came back normal. We had no answers as to why this happens. Its hard & very painful. But i worked it out within myself. I figure its one less thing to worry about the next time. I am now 10.5wks pregnant & all looks good. Im still praying everyday. But things look good. Hang in there. It gets better.

i'm sorry...i know how hard it is to hear the gender. when they told me with my first loss that it was a  i remember sitting at my desk literally feeling sick. the good news is though that all the genetics were normal
