help please

My husband and I are going away 5 days and my 3 yr old cat only eats wet food 3 times a day, my 4 yr old eats dry or wet...my stepson will be coming by around 5 to feed them the wet food, will the 3 yr old cat adapt to just eating the wet food once a day and if she is hungry eat the try food....what should I do

I have never had a cat and do not know how long wet food can be out of the fridge if open, but could something like this work?

It says you can set it for 6, 12 or 24 hour intervals, so maybe your stepson can set it each day when he goes to open every 6 hours?

Thanks for your great advice, but I don't think it would do wet food, I wouldn't like to leave the wet food out for 5 days...thanks

I meant for your stepson to put new food in it everyday when he goes, not to leave 5 days worth of food in it..
