Lululemon
Does anyone like this brand of athletic wear? My trainer suggested it to me, but it is so expensive! I was windering if it was worth it.

Re: Lululemon
My MIL got me a running middle layer shirt from there. While I can tell it's high quality, and I really like it, not sure I'd buy it on my own. I have several running shirts that I've bought at Marshall's for under $20 that keep me warm and have held up fine so far. If I had extra money laying around to spend, maybe...but most likely, not. I also have a lululemon bag that I received as a gift and LOVE.........bottom line, great quality stuff, just a bit pricey for me.

Re: Lululemon
A lot of ladies on here have recommended it. I see a few women in my yoga classes who are wearing it, but I just can't bring myself to spend over $50.00 for a top at this point.
I also would need to go to the store and try on I think before I spent that much money on something, and the ones on LI are kind of out of the way from me.

Re: Lululemon
its the only workout brand that I wear now! The products are innovative and I know this sounds crazy but knowing I can wear them gives me inspiration to work out. The items are a little pricey, but the quality is very good. I still have pieces from 2+ years ago and are in great condition!

Re: Lululemon
There stuff is made very nicely but I only have very few things from there. I only buy what's on sale or I go with my trainer who gets a discount! I love their tops but their pants fit me horible. IMO the store is a ripoff! Def more of a fashion statement

How does this brand compare to underamour
I think underarmour is real perfromance gear--keeps you warm in the winter/cool in the summer/compresses muscles etc.
Lululemon is fashionable workout clothes--I would say geared more towards yoga/pilates etc.
Check out the site!

i grew up in Canada and lululemon opened there years and years ago. I have pants from HIGH SCHOOL that I still wear to work out in. They are AMAZING quality and last forever and I personally find the yoga pants flattering on everyone!

Re: Lululemon
I am addicted to their workout clothes. They are pricey, but the quality is amazing. After numerous washings/dryings the clothes look the exact same as the day I bought them. I highly recommend it.

I'm a lululemon lover
LOVE their stuff. Mostly their pants. And I just got a really yummy hoodie from there.
It is but worth it. I usually don't buy things on my own unless I have a GC to help me out

Re: Lululemon
The sizes run weird. The smallest size they make is a 2 and not all pants or tops come in that size. Unless I am buying the exact same pant/top I already own i usually try stuff on to be sure it will fit.
AND the best thing for short people like me... free alterations.
I think lulu is doing a lot to build their product line. They did start out as a mostly yoga-related products. The cold weather run gear is lined in fleece, the sleeves have convertible mittens, with a thumb whole, they have mesh in key areas on the tops to pull moisture away and prevent/reduce stink.
some of the zippers have a rubber pully which can be used as a hair tie in an emergency.
So many convenient pockets. whew...
I wonder if they are hiring...

Re: Lululemon
i love lulu too. Pricey, absolutely. But worth it IMO. I do bikram yoga and their stuff is now the only thing I'm comfortable in bc of the anti wicking fabric they use. You can get a decent deal on sale merchandise.

Re: Lululemon
Their clothes look nice, but I too cannot spend the $$. I buy Nike and Under Armour which holds up so well for as much as I wear and wash it! (Oh and Nike and UA can get pricey but I wait for sales or shop at the outlets!)
