Anyone on Yaz, Yasmin or the new BeYaz?
If so how do you like it?
My doctor just prescribed me BeYaz and im a little hesitant to take it bc its a newer pill from the makers of Yaz, yasmin and I see alot of cautions for blood clotting. (seems alot more than the norm) so if you can give me any input on your health and how your liking it please let me know. Im borderlin about to call my doc and have him prescribe me estrostep which i was on in the beginning.

I currently take yaz...for birth control and to control some nasty fibroid symptoms. Never had an issue with it...as long as you don't smoke the possibility of getting blood clots are very small..

I was on Yasmin and got a blood clot.
I have never smoked even a single cigarette in my entire life.
I've had other, less severe issues with other types of BC.
Done with it all.

I was on Yasmin (now I take the generic form, Ocella) for years and I haven't had a problem.

My friend got a blood clot from Yaz...she was young (about 28) and never smoked. It was a horrible experience and very scary.
I don't recommend their products at all.

i was on yaz before i got preg
now that i wanted to go back on dr said she doesnt prescribe anymore bc of lawsuits.
now she prescribes loestrin/

I've been on several different BCs over the last 12 years, Ocella the last 3.

thanks everyone! i called my doc up and requested to stick with my original birth control. For the most part, it sounds like I dont want anything to do with anything related to yaz or from the makers of yaz
