Done with the RE this morning!
What a morning...I took the wrong train from my house and it didn't stop at Mineola! So I had to go all the way to Jamaica and then pick up an east bound train back to Mineola.
I got to the RE at 8:20 for my 7:45 appointment!!! I called to let them know ahead of time and they said it was ok.
They took me in SO FAST I was in, had my sono, had more blood taken, talked to the nurse and was out the door in time to walk back to Mineola train station and get the 8:58 train! I couldn’t believe it!!! I asked them if it was OK if I called for my results and they just talked to me at the counter so I didnt have to wait (they knew I had to make my train...)
Everything went fine - except that girl who takes my blood is NOT gentle at all!! I hate when she takes blood. They said I'm going to O from my right side this month and I have to use OPKs now and when I get the surge I have to call to set up the appt for the IUI.
I really need to call them back because I don’t know how long after I get the surge on my OPKs that I need to come in...and I don’t know when DH has to go drop off the sample...do you guys know?
I also didn’t have time to wait to get DHs SA results and I will have to call later for that too.
I didn't have time to wait. I am so thankful that they took me in so fast ...and excited because it looks like I will O this week.

YES I really do like them there! I couldnt believe how fast they got me out of there this morning, everyone is so helpful! So nice too.
There is only one receptionist there who I havent dealt with directly, but I've overheard her dealing with other patients and she got kind of rude/nasty with a few people.  I was staring at her (in disbelief) at one point and DH kind of nudged me to get me to stop looking at her. She was so nasty to some poor woman on the phone...if it was me at the other end I would have been crying!
Seems like she is there every time I go there...and I havent really heard her be nice to anyone.

Wow, you are moving right along, huh? That is GREAT!!!!!
I can't really answer your question about the OPK's and when to call...I could not use an OPK, for some reason I never got a surge line on them so I went in for a blood test to see if I was getting ready to surge. If I were you, I would call them and speak to them and ask them what the procedure is.

Jen - thank you! I can use all the prayers I can get!
Diane - Im on cd12 already so they said that if I dont get the surge on my OPKs within 2 days to come in for another sono. But Dr Bray already told me that by the size of the follies she thinks I will O later in my cycle this month, so Im going to wait til the wk end and if I dont have a surge by then I will call them for another sono. I dont think I really need another one, I'm ging to O, it will just be a little later in my cycle, which is not abnormal for me from time to time. I just cant keep being out of work so I think I will be fine with the OPKs since I am monitoring it myself this cycle.
I *think* the nurse told me once I got the surge that they would do IUI 36 hrs after that - does that sound right to you? I was in such a rush to get my train I forgot what she said! I dont know when DH has to go drop off his 'swimers' either - is it the day I have my IUI?

You call when you get the Lh surge and go in the next day with DH's sample.
