I received the results of my blood work today
I met with my high risk OB today to go over the results of my recurrent m/c panel.
Here's what he had to say

OK...I am lost
SO you have a child already but you have this MT??? (not sure what that stands for???). So how did dc #1 not have a situation? or did dc 1 have a situation. Sorry that I am confused. Interested though

Apparently I have always had it. I had a chemical pregnancy before DD, then a successful pregnancy with DD, and now 2 more losses.
I guess we got VERY lucky with DD. She is our little miracle. Now knowing that I have 2 blood clotting issues that negatively affect pregnancy, I made sure I hugged her extra tight tonight and smothered her with kisses.

I agree! What a true blessing!!! I also had a VERY easy first pregnancy. Not exactly sure what happened. This is all too much

so glad they found this! My hematologist told me a woman can definitely have a successful pregnancy having an unknown clotting issue but then have difficulty staying pregnant with other pregnancies without any treatment. he said there was no rhyme of reason why - it just happens
