shower question.........

For those that have had their shower already, how much stuff did you have to get afterwards?
Im getting worried that Im not going to get all the big stuff I registered for


Also, my bedding is not iun stock in any of the stores and it took me so long to find one I like, now Im afraid I will have to find another one. Sorry just venting away

well good news...I just went to the Bohemia Store and they have 4 left...my bedding is discountinued and I bought 2 of them. I got 10% off on both beddings and I had coupons to use

It really depends on how many people are going to be at your shower. I had about 35 and got a TON of stuff. However, me and DH had to go to Babies R Us and spend another $300 on stuff we did not get and absolutely needed. The other stuff we did not get we are going to wait on until the boys need it.

Unfortunetly, our situation is different then a single shower. We need a lot more stuff so it's more likely we won't get everything.

We got alot of stuff, but then again we got the furniture from our paretns befor ethe shower, and we bought the bedding which was over 300 for the two of them. We spent a bunch of money after but we did get a bunch of giftcards and checks and becuase of a BRU mess up, we got 6 bouncey seats, so that helped with exchanges.

People don't go shopping unitl last minute, o I wouldn't worry about it. I also sisn't register for any clothes becuase I preferred getting the stuff we needed besides clothes, KWIM.

For some reason, I got a lot of quadruples. The reutrns paid for most of the things i didn't get. We had to buy our car seats, but we were able to pay for these with gift cards. The only thing I paid for is crib and bassinette sheets and a few miscellaneous items.

I had my shower yesterday and got almost everything on the registry (and a lot of stuff not on the registry but that we will definitely use). I dont think we have much to buy at all now but we also got lots of gift cards which we can use on diapers & any last minute stuff.

I think you will get a lot of stuff. Will you have a work shower too. You would be suprised how generous people are even after the babies are born. That was smart getting the bedding though. I would have done the same.
