Cover letter/pay cut
I'm trying to figure out the wording for a cover letter where the employer is asking for salary requirements. Here's the thing. I work in the City and this job is on LI. I know for a fact that in this field, I will have to take at least a 15-20k pay cut. I don't want them to look at it and say, too much and toss it or sell myself short. Any advice? Thank you!

I would simply say the position is more local than your current one, and you may be somewhat flexible about compensation.
