I forgot how much I hate this feeling.
So far, I've been doing great with WW. I'm down about 10lbs since the beginning of January and I'm holding strong. What I hate is feeling awful when I look in the mirror because all of my clothes are baggy on me now. The kicker is, the smaller sizes I have don't fit yet, so I look like a frumpy, dumpy mess. I have a concert tonight (I'm a music teacher and conductor), and I look awful. I have to go out in front of an audience looking like a complete frumpy mess It's one thing to look terrible on a regular day, it's another thing to look terrible in front of hundreds of people Just needed to vent about that. Thanks.

Re: I forgot how much I hate this feeling.
I know exactly how you're feeling. I found that in those in between stages, dresses were the most flattering option. Pants, jeans and even some skirts squyeze everything in all the wrong places or they ate too big which = frump.
I know you have your event tonight and I'm sure you don't look as bad as you feel (we are all so terribly hard on ourselves) but I say go out this weekend and buy a couple of dresses that flatter you and that you can wear out.
Good luck tonight!!

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this! I think I will definitely go out and get some dresses. I'm tired of feeling crappy, especially after losing some weight!

I hope the concert went well and that it lifted your spirits. Definitely treat yourself to something special this weekend.....you've earned it. I know frumpy is no fun but TIGHT is even worse so be happy that your clothes are getting tooo big and not too small!!

Re: I forgot how much I hate this feeling.
I can relate. My pants are big on me. I just walked from my car to my front door and they literally were drooping down barely covering my butt (thank goodness my coat covered! I couldnt pick them up bc my hands were full with bags and DD)
Anyway, the smaller size is too tight still. I feel like I look like a dumpy mess at work We have to keep in our minds that this is a just a transition and soon enough we will look hot!

Have you thought about taking some of your current clothes to be taken in by a tailor? It is more economical then buying new clothing right now and it will help you to feel better about how you look. Keep up the hard work!
