I hate when people say (regarding weight loss)...
Oh, you don't need to lose that much or you look fine the way you are.
I "need" to lose 20 lbs. for ME. I hate hearing how I just don't. Ugghhh...-lol!!

yea i know what you mean... i get the same thing... but it could be worse... people could be telling you that you needed to lose a few pounds... you wouldn't like that either

True.
I guess it just gets annoying as everyone knows how they want to look and what weight they are comfortable at.

Same here! I mean I get that when your discussing ones weight its like protocal to say "you dont need to you look great!" to someone but on the recieving end its annoying. Its like "Yes, yes i do need to loose 5-10pounds. When Im doing the jig just to get into my jeans somethign is wrong."

yeah, sometimes I get this too, I kinda take it as a compliment but at the same time don't know how to respond to it. I think they're just trying to be nice. Even though I don't look huge, I know I could still could stand lose a few (or more than a few).

I think people get awkward - they don't know what to say - they don't feel it would be appropriate to say, "Yeah - you TOTALLY need to get rid of those 20 lbs!!!"
