So sad..................
I am so upset, my parents would have been grandparents for the first time and they are not here to see it, My sister has a baby girl, and I am thinking if I am this upset , how am I a going to handle this when I have a baby? also it is going to be so devastating during grandparents hour at the hospital. I am so sad...... does anyone else feel this way?

I'm so sorry Princess. I think about that a lot when I am with my neice - that my mom would have adored her and how incredibly sad and unfair it is that she can't be here. She was soo itching to be a grandma. Sometimes, I just talk to her and tell her how amazing her granddaughter is and how much she would have loved her.
Congratulations on your neice - just remember to tell her all about them, and how much they would have loved her.!!!

Congratulations on your niece. You're not alone. All the happy things are a double edge sword for me too. It's just a crappy thing that we all have to go through unfortunately. Unfair is the right word for it.  It supposedly makes us stronger right? Love your niece for both of them.
