Insanity?
Anyone ever try the workout DVD insanity? It looks intense, I was wondering if its worth it for someone with alot of weight to lose or am I better off trying something like the biggest looser cardio dvds? I have tried the 30 day shred in the past it was so mundane and redundant I just couldn't bare to do it every day. I belong to a gym but I get bored with the machines alot...

There was just another post about Insanity... Post from a few days ago!
I am doing it. I followed the first month exactly and now on month 2, I am incorporating more running into the schedule. LMK if you have any questions. You may find some of it mundane (first month repeats same 3 workouts) but I always push myself to my limit and get an excellent workout. I haven't lost much weight but I didn't have much to lose. I see a difference in toning and a major difference in the results of my "fit test" which is part of the program.

I just started it this week. I'm on day 2 and SORE.
But I went from no exercise to INSANITY, so I have some catching up to do...

It's really tough but you just do what you can. I say go for it!! The first day you may feel like throwing in the towel but you just keep on keeping on and it will get easier (not that Insanity is ever "easy" ).

I LOVE it! I do it in addition to my weights workouts as my cardio during the week. It is just such a great workout and actuall fun!

Great to hear your results! I use my friend's DVD's so I don't follow the Insanity schedule. I was wondering if for the first month you just do DVD's 1-3. I love #2 (cardio power & resistance).
