OK - Let's talk Ipod Touch
What size do we need?
We would have:
Photos for Pecs (probably way over 100+ pics)
Dowload Music from this favorite shows
Apps (whatever they might be)
Can you take pics with the Ipod Touch?
This is not a phone, right? Just an ipod? what about the internet? Free if connecting to wi-fi?

we have an 8g its plenty of space if being used for a child only.
the larger ones have a camera.
you can get great deals on the leftovers.
we got a brand new one for $170 it was i think 2nd or 3rd generation.
free if connected to wi-fi
def recommend those screen protectors and a case for it (the rubber ones work great)
we have about 50 or so songs, 100+ apps and about 50 or so pics and he still has plenty of room.

Where can you find the "leftovers"? We have an ipod and iPad but I may like to get one just for DS.

So you just download pics into the ipod via the computer?

we got ours from walmart... but i looked and they arent offering the deal we got. google and try ebay. i personally would not get a used one.. you dont really know what your getting...
as for pictures... when you connect to itunes, you name it whatever and then move pictures over.
we got pictures of his friends and i labeled each one, and i would ask him who it was and he would tell me, then i would cover their faces and he would have to tell me who each one was by their written name,
there is so much you can do, and i do love it.. we do plan on getting him the ipad, but i think it more likely i will be usuing it (but shhh dont tell him that... )

Apps on iPod
since i use itunes for my iphone and AJs ipod there are some that are mine....
but for the most part you can see what he has on his ipod

Thanks everyone! I'm gonna download some of these free ones today  I love that most of the apps I have are for her LOL. All I have is skype, viber IMDb and Fruit Ninja. The rest are hers
