Sugar help...how do you not give in to the craving?
Ugh I swear I'd lose 5lbs if I didn't eat sugar after dinner.
Granted, I'm usually eating a fat free sugar item, like fro yo or graham crackers or candy, all empty carbs. ...but I can't fight the craving, it makes me so weak!
Any ideas how I can get around it?!

Have you considered replacing your sugary snack with fruit. Still sweet but at least you would be getting some fiber & vitamins/antioxidants.

I have the same problem. And honestly I don't want to give up my candy bars!

I'm a big fan of popping some grapes in the freezer and having them almost-frozen. Sweet and icy, totally seems like dessert and its good for you.

i'm in the same boat! i can't seem to not give in to it, though i do my best to compromise - if i want sweets during the day its diet swiss miss for me (1 point) so i can have dessert at night. for dessert, i like to have jello dark choco mouse with strawberries and ff cool whip. 2 points!

Yes, I love fruit...for breakfast I eat a bowl of berries or a banana, etc, and totally enjoy it. After dinner, I want the crappy empty stuff!

Re: Sugar help...how do you not give in to the craving?
I have a huge sweet tooth. I could give up all regular food and just live on dessert! I always have a small jello mousse with some whipped cream after dinner. I don't like to deprive myself. But other than that its just will power. I try not to keep that stuff in the house..if its there I eat it!!
